Is there anybody working the Ogdoadica curriculum?

Hello, Ive been following the Ogdoadica curriculum for 2 years and I have seen lots of results, my psychic habilities are starting to wake up, my visualizations are getting stronger, my imagination is getting better, I like Golden Dawns results but Aurum Solis magick is also very beautifull and complex, I forgot also to say my behavior has changed for the better good and of course I love languages so I like to learn from Hebrew to Greek and a little Latin, Ive heard they are magical languages, thank you.

Though I never used the Ogdoad system, I have pulled from some of the more familiar rituals and ceremonies the wording, which was predominantly Greek. Much of the reasoning for this usage was for an implementation of Orthodox Christian Saints and Angels to some ceremonial workings I was experimenting with and was quite a success.

Interesting, some one recomended me "Drawing Down the Moon" by Radcliffe Edmons, I have not started it but is about ancient Greco-roman magic, seems to me a very interesting reading, good day.

Ave, welcome to the forum, fellow Ogdoad.

I too have worked the Ogdoadic curriculum that Denning & Phillips wrote so extensively and passionately about. I worked it hard for over a year - all of the books in The Magickal Philosophy Series and Magickal States of Consciousness, although I only did the first round of planetary magick rituals - then drifted away. Then I went back to it last year and spent almost a year working some of the more fundamental rituals, which was good for reinforcing the fundamentals of spiritual and magickal development. I agree that it's a very powerful and beautiful current. It seems the current's inner planes' contacts are quite vibrant.

Also, Ordo Astrum Sophiae is the order keeping alive and advancing the traditional Qabalah-based system of magick found in the works of Denning & Phillips. Their GM, Derek Richards, published a booklet that's available on Kindle called "The Lunar Formula of IAO". It's quite interesting.

The current version of Aurum Solis is very different now from what it was and has been commercialized - which is unfortunate on both counts.

Nice man, I hardly find practicioners of this art, I know of like 2 or 3 independet blogs but not actually real practicioners, I am currently getting ready for Assumption of Godform, I learned this ritual from Golden Dawn, but never put it in practice, even tho I imagine myself doing the meditation, and I want to advance and do it, have you read Grand Master Debiassi books about Ogdoadic tradition? I think he is a blessing for doing those books,

In terms of numbers, the Ogdoadic tradition seems to have far fewer practitioners than other Victorian and post-Victorian orders, but that's okay with me. If you want to interact with them, the best way is to join one of the orders.

de Biasi isn't my cup of tea. I joined the Aurum Solis in 2020 out of love for the magick of D&P. I should have done my due dilligence first, because I ended up leaving after quickly realizing I had made a mistake. To each their own, of course.

Anyway, it's good to have someone on the forum to discuss these things with.

Thanks for the reply sir, since I cant join the actual order I think I will stick with the books and I am liking the new ones from GM De Biassi, I did not knew anything about Hermetism and with the book "Rediscovering the Magick of the Gods and Goddesses" Ive become more interested in the subject, the city I live was builded by spaniards like 400 years ago and we even share the towns name with a Spanish town ,the Mediterranean region has always been of my interest. I hope we can chat more.
